CROOKSTON, Minn.
- The Bethel Royals got four goals from four different players on their way to a 4-2 win over host University of Minnesota at Crookston this afternoon. The win is the fourth consecutive win for the Royals over the Golden Eagles in the past two years.

Chris Fiala (Fr., Vadnais Heights, Minn.) helped Bethel get on the scoreboard first with the help of Brad Peterson (Sr., Bloomington, Minn.), just 20 seconds into the second period. Just over eight minutes later, Drew Dammen (Fr., Sun Prairie, Wis.) scored to put the Royals up 2-0.

In the third period, Reed Zweber (Fr., Lakeville, Minn.) scored what proved to be the the game-winning goal at the 3:24 mark.

The Golden Eagles did not go down without a fight, though. They pulled their goalie with 2:20 remaining and were able to score two goals in the span of 1:40 to make the score 3-2 in favor of the Royals with just a minute and a half remaining.

However, Brad Peterson (Sr., Bloomington, Minn.) made Crookston pay for their lack of a netminder and put the game away for good with an empty net goal with 1:06 remaining.  Peterson leads the team with four points, and has 81 in his career.

Aaron Damjanovich (Sr., Remer, Minn.) earned another win, saving 36 of the 38 shots on goal he faced.

Bethel is now 2-0 overall, while Crookston drops to 0-2 on their season. The Royals are scheduled to return home for a series against Marian College beginning next Friday night at 7 p.m. at Bethel University Arena in Blaine, Minn.
