ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Bethel Royals wrapped up their season today with a match on the road against the College of St. Catherine Wildcats. The two teams battled back and forth as Bethel won the second and fourth sets (25-20, 25-19). However, St. Catherine won the match 3-2 by winning the first, third, and fifth sets (25-22, 25-15, 15-9).

Chelsea Falck (Sr., DeForest, Wis.) had her strongest match of the season, finishing with 17.5 points on 15 kills, two service aces, and a block assist. Fellow co-captain
Jennifer Stoa (Sr., Brooklyn Park, Minn.) had her third-best performance of the season in her last match, tallying 14.5 points on 12 kills, two service aces, and a block assist. Stoa, a four-year starter, will graduate as one of the leading blockers in school history.
Kelly Otto (Jr., Plymouth, Minn.), who figures to be one of the Royals top returners next season, had 15.5 points on 14 kills and three block assists. Otto finishes the season with the highest kills per set average on the team with 2.76, and also had the highest hitting percentage at .274.
St. Catherine's Megan Ahlbrecht led all scorers with 19 points on 17 kills, a solo block, and a block assist.
The Royals finish their season at 2-9 in the MIAC, and 9-18 overall. The Wildcats also finish at 2-9 in the conference, and 12-17 overall.
