Box Score

INDIANOLA, Iowa
- With just under five minutes to play in the first half, Brandon Peplinski's (So., Maple Grove, Minn.) goal from 12-yards out gave Bethel all it would need for a 1-0 shutout over the hosting Simpson College Storm.

Royals leading scorer, Andreas Scott (So., Cedar, Minn.), picked up the assist on the goal, giving him 19 points on the season, and nine in the last three games.

Nick Kantor (Jr., Buffalo, Minn.) stopped each of the four Storm shots that came his way, giving him his second shutout of the season and the fifth of his career.

Statistically, the two teams played to a virtual draw, save for the final score. Simpson had four corner kicks to Bethel's three, and the Storm out-shot the Royals nine to eight. Both teams had four shots on goal, but in the end, it was the one that found the back of the net that made the difference.

With the victory, Bethel has eclipsed their win total from last season and is now 5-12 overall, including 4-3 in their last seven games. Simpson falls to 5-9-2 overall with the loss. The Royals will return home to try to end their season with back-to-back victories when they are scheduled to take on Saint Mary's this Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Ona Orth Athletic Complex.
