ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - After being forced to stop the game because of lightening a little over a week ago, Bethel played a rematch against Saint John's today. With just over 20 minutes to go in the game, Bethel tied it up 3-3, sending the game to overtime. However, it was in the overtime period that the Johnnies slipped a shot into the Bethel net and took the game by a final of 4-3.

The Royals quickly recovered from the two goal deficit to break out of their five-game scoring drought.

Andreas Scott (So., Cedar, Minn.), less than three minutes after the second Johnnie goal at just under the 38 minute mark of the game. Determined to get back in the game, Bethel kept coming and scored another goal at 38:20. The goal was scored by Christopher Dirks (So., Excelsior, Minn.), assisted by
Eric Johnson (Jr., Bloomington, Minn.)
Tied at two a piece, the game was far from being over. Lowell found the back of the net again for the Johnnies five minutes into the second half, assisted by Cam Christensen. But the Royals were able to answer as Random Sommars (Sr., Cambridge, Minn.) popped another shot into the net at just under 70 minutes into the game, once again assisted by Scott.
Tied 3-3, the game went into to overtime. Each team was able to get a shot off, but at 98:31 minutes into the game, Saint John's took the shot that ended the battle. The goal was scored by Brian Horst, assisted by Lowell, giving Bethel their second heartbreaking conference loss in a row.
