Madson scores 28, but Auggies snap Royals' four-game winning streak 75-63

MINNEAPOLIS
- The Royals had their four-game winning streak come to an abrupt end at the hands of Augsburg by a score of 75-63 tonight.

Newly crowned MIAC Player of the Week Tim Madson (Jr., Redwood Falls, Minn.) scored 28 points to lead Bethel, but no one else finished in double figures. 

The Royals never led during the game, as they trailed 29-22 at the half, and were down by as many as 19 points in the second half.

David Olson scored 23 points while Justin Kozlowski scored 20 points and had seven assists to account for a majority of Augsburg's scoring.

The Royals fall to 9-6 overall and 5-5 in the MIAC, while Augsburg improves to 5-10 overall and 3-7 in the conference.  Bethel will have a bye on Wednesday before traveling south on Snelling Avenue to take on Hamline this Saturday at 3 p.m.
