MOORHEAD, Minn.
- The Royals went into Saturday's game looking to slow down Concordia, who had won four conference games in a row.  They did just that by handing the Cobbers a 73-56 loss.

Concordia's Luke Linz matched Madson by scoring 24 points, while Erik Lien was the only other Cobber to reach double digit points with 10.

The win takes Bethel one step closer to .500 in conference play, nudging them up to 3-4 and improving their overall record to 7-5.  Concordia falls to 4-3 in the MIAC and 5-7 overall.  The Royals return home to play Macalester next Wednesday night at 7:45 p.m. at the Robertson Center.
