BLAINE, Minn. - Bethany Murphy-Aultman (Jr., Grand Rapids, MN) and Sandra Felten (Jr., Cashton, WI) each had two assists as Bethel tied Concorida University Wisconsin 3-3 tonight.

The Royals jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, with Hannah Carlson (Sr., Copper Center, AK) and Julien Olson (Sr., Minneapolis, MN) scoring goals less than two minutes apart in the first period. 

After a Falcon goal, the Royals again went up by two when team captain Amy Beitzel (Sr., Apple Valley, MN) scored with the help of Anna Baumgarten (Jr., Elmhurst, IL) and newcomer Kassy Sullivan (Fr., Roseville, MN).

Unfortunately, their lead would not hold.  Concordia Wisconsin's April Fallal took advantage of a holding penalty on Bethel and scored a power play goal, and then scored again, only this time while the Falcons were shorthanded.

The game ended in a tie after a scoreless overtime period.

Bethel moves to 1-1-1 overall and will face off against Robert Morris College in an exhibition game tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. at home.  Concordia Wisconsin, playing in their inaugural season, is now 0-2-1.
