Madson leads Bethel over Martin Luther 94-82

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – Tim Madson (Jr., Redwood Falls, Minn.) led all scorers with 31 points, lifting the Royals to a 94-82 win over Martin Luther College in the second game of the Chanticlear Pizza Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Bethel.

Nick Otterson (Jr., St. Paul, Minn.) racked up 21 points for the Royals who made half their shots from the field and all but one of their free throws.

Nathan Nass led the Knights with 26 points, while Caleb Free had 21.

The win moves Bethel to the championship game of the four team tournament to play against Bethany Lutheran at 8 p.m. Saturday night. Bethany Lutheran defeated Trinity International University by a score of 100-93 in the first game.
