Bethel ends long day with loss to #1 Wooster

March 17, 2006

Box Score

FORT MYERS, Fla.
- The Bethel Baseball team started off their spring trip in Ft. Myers on a sour note, falling 26-0 to #1-ranked Wooster. Wooster only had 14 hits, but 10 walks and an uncharacteristic nine errors lead to the extremely lopsided game. Wooster scored runs in the first four innings, including nine in the first, six in the third and seven in the fourth.

The Royals (3-4) could manage only four hits in the game, but did have runners on second and third with no outs in the third inning. However, they were unable to bring a run home. The Royals are looking to rebound as they continue their spring trip with a double-header against Babson College on Monday morning.
