Game 1 Box Score | Game 2 Box Score

ARDEN HILLS, Minn.
- The Royals fell twice to the Knights from Carleton Wednesday afternoon 6-5 and 4-3. Both games were decided in the fateful 7th inning.

The Royals had what seemed to be a commanding lead in both games before Carleton made late game surges. In game one Bethel was up 5-2 heading into the 7th before the Knights rallied off four runs to take the victory away. Game two was much of the same as the Royals entered the 7th with a two run cushion before Carleton found its bats, driving in three and once again claiming the win.

Travis Wermedal led the Royals in game one going 2-2 with three RBI's, three runs scored and a HR. In game two Bethel was led by Alex Garee who batted 1-3 and scored two of the three Royal runs.

The Knights were led by Doug Sylvester in game one and Matt Topeff in game two. Both finished with two hits in the respective games as Topeff added two RBI's and Sylvester scored two run's.

Bethel's next game is Saturday, May 7 when they travel for an important series against Concordia College. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
