INDIANOLA, Iowa - Bethel traveled to Simpson College on Saturday and dropped two games to the Storm 10-5 and 10-6.
In game one, Bethel jumped to a 1-0 lead in the first inning and held a 3-2 lead after their half of the third inning. In the bottom of the third, Simpson got five hits which yielded four runs, giving them a lead that they did not relinquish. The Storm also scored four runs in the fourth inning.
Junior first basemen
Dane Hansen led Bethel at the plate with two hits and three RBI's.
In game two, Bethel again jumped out to an early lead and were ahead 4-1 after their half of the fourth inning. In the fifth inning, Simpson exploded for six runs on four hits to take the lead for good. The Storm added three runs in the sixth inning and Bethel added two in the seventh for the final 10-6 score.

Brandon Carr lead Bethel with three hits in the loss.

Bethel's next game is Tuesday, April 12 vs. Gustavus at Hargis Park on the Bethel University campus. Game time is 2:30 p.m.
