Game 1 Box Score | Game 2 Box Score

ARDEN HILLS, Minn.
- The Royal offense came alive again Wednesday afternoon splitting a pair of games with St. Mary's, 7-11 and 18-0.

Both games were filled with fireworks as Bethel took over the top spot in the leagues HR race adding eight more to their previous total and setting the new mark at 23. The Carr brothers came away with five of those as Brandon hit two and Kirby knocked out another three giving him 10 for the year. Peter Harrell, Alex Garee, and T. J. Therrien rounded out things as each finished with one.

While the offensive game clicked for the Royals, their seven runs was not enough in game one as St. Mary's scored 11 runs on 17 hits giving Matt Popek a complete game victory. The Cardinals were led in game one by Nick Winecke, Ryan Majerus, and Brady Knudsen who combined for nine hits, four runs, and six RBI's.

In game two, Justin Haddock pitched a gem for the Royals striking out five while only allowing four hits in his complete game shutout.

The Royals were led throughout the day by Kirby Carr who finished batting a perfect 5-5 with seven runs scored and seven RBI's. Brandon Carr, meanwhile, went 4-8 scoring four and knocking in six to help the Royals amass their 25 runs on the day.

Bethel continues their conference fight when they travel to St. John's for a 1:00 pm double header Saturday, April 23. The Royals are now 13-12 overall and 6-4 in conference play.
