ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - Of the 295 yards gained by the Royals, 186 were courtesy of running back
Phil Porta as he set Bethel's all-time rushing record against a Cobber run defense that had averaged giving up only 55.7 yards per game. Porta's first carry of the afternoon was the record breaker when he scampered for a 79-yard TD run. Porta now has 3,571 career rushing yards on 631 carries (5.7 yards per carry) surpassing Mike Johnson's previous record of 3,435 (1999-02).
