Royal Stadium

This game and practice complex is one of the best natural surfaces in the country and the most picturesque small-college stadiums in the upper Midwest. For the Bethel Royals, playing at Royal Stadium has truly been a home field advantage. Since the first game in 1996, which marked a 41-7 Homecoming win over Concordia, the Royals have a 87-20 (.813) overall record when playing at home. Moreover, Bethel has hosted six NCAA Division III playoff games at Royal Stadium and holds a 4-2 record in those games. The Royals have used the energy of the home crowds to go 10-1 at home in 2018 and 2019, including a 21-15 win over then No. 9-ranked St. Thomas and a 41-14 thrashing of Wartburg in the First Round of the NCAA Playoffs in 2018 while being undefeated at home in 2019.

Bethel has consistently ranked among the nation’s top NCAA Division III teams in attendance, most recently ranking fourth in 2018 with an average of 4,436. Bethel's 4,436 per game average in 2018 is the second highest behind only 2013 when an average of 4,757 fans attended the Royals eight home games that season. Bethel also ranked in the Top 10 in attendance in 2007 (8th -4,371) and in 2003 (9th – 3,785) and has consistently been in the Top 20 over the past 15 years.
