Tim Beasley has led the Bethel pitching staff in an era of unprecedented success, ranking among the national leaders in multiple categories, and helping the Royals win over 30 games in three of the past five seasons.

BETHEL PITCHING UNDER BEASLEY
• The only college baseball team in 2018 with a sub-2.00 ERA at 1.98
• Posted the best ERA in the history of the MIAC in both conference play (1.57) and overall (1.98) in 2018, the overall mark is the 18th best in the history of NCAA DIII
• Led the MIAC in ERA in four of the last six seasons
• 10th in NCAA Division III in ERA in 2017 (3.13)
• Fourth in NCAA Division III with eight shutouts in 2018
• Sixth in NCAA Division III with seven shutouts in 2015

• Led NCAA Division III in WHIP (1.09) in 2018
• Sixth in NCAA Division III in WHIP (1.18) in 2017
• Sixth in NCAA Division III in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.01) in 2013, 12th in 2017 (3.15) and 13th in 2018 (2.85)
• Led the MIAC in strikeout-to-walk ratio in 2013 & 2015 and second in 2016, 2017 & 2021
• Fourth in NCAA Division III in fewest walks allowed per nine innings in 2021 (2.41), sixth in 2018 (2.35), fifth in 2017 (2.24), seventh in 2013 (2.21), and 15th in 2012 (2.56) 
• Fewest amount of walks allowed over the past 10 seasons in the MIAC

PITCHERS DEVELOPMENT

• 12 MIAC All-Conference pitchers in 10 seasons
• Eight All-Region selections

• 12 MIAC Pitcher-of-the-Week honors
• Joe Zorn named 2015 MIAC Pitcher-of-the-Year
• Matt Rowley named 2012 All-American as utility (OF/P) player

• Joe Zorn (2015) & Tyler Heitmann (2016) named to the MIAC All-Defensive Team
• Royals pitchers have picked off 67 baserunners over the last seven seasons, the most in the MIAC
• Eight pitchers placed in the summer collegiate Northwoods League


BEFORE BETHEL
• Was the Head Coach for four years at North Central University, leading the program into full NCAA Division III status  
• Qualified NCU to the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division II World Series in three of four seasons as head coach
• Coached five NCCAA All-Americans
• Two-time NCCAA North Central Region Coach of the Year
• Student assistant coach on 2007 Sun Belt Conference championship team at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette 

PLAYING CAREER
• Member of the Sun Belt Conference champion Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns
• Two-time All-Region selection at Iowa Western Community College with 9-1 career record
• Pitched for the Alexandria Beetles of the Northwoods League
• All-State infielder/pitcher at Minnewaska Area (Minn.) High School

YOUTH BASEBALL EXPERIENCE
• Worked with the Edina Baseball Association as a roving pitching instructor, travel team head coach and legion assistant coach for six years
• Helped 19 Edina players go on to play college baseball, including seven at the NCAA DI level
• Assistant coach with Edina's 2012 American Legion State Championship team 

ASST. ATHLETIC DIRECTOR FOR STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING
• Oversees Bethel's Sports Information Department which includes the Asst. SID, student interns and a team of 20-25 student workers
• Primary contact for the Bethel football and women's hockey programs 

• Worked with Sidearm Sports to create and launch Bethel's athletics recruiting website BeYouatBU.com in 2019


PERSONAL LIFE
• Lives in Maple Grove with wife Kati and daughter Rue
