Heading into the final day, Bethel held a three-shot lead over Gustavus while four teams were vying for the title and were all separated by just five shots. The Royals rose to the occasion and claimed their first-ever MIAC title shooting a 297 in the final round thanks to 12 birdies which gave them a six stroke advantage when all was said and done.Â
Dillon John, Bennett Smed and Alex Case all placed in the top 10 where John and Smed tied for fourth while Case tied for eighth among the field of 50 golfers.

For the second time in program history the Bethel claimed the MIAC Championship title. The Royals carded a program-best 6-under-par 858 (285-282-291), the second-lowest 54-hole score in recorded MIAC Men's Golf history, winning the championship by 13 strokes over Saint John's. Concordia finished third with an 899. Bethel was one shot back of the lead heading into round two before delivering what would be a program 18-hole low at the time, six-under-par 282 moving up past Saint John's and holding a nine-stroke lead heading into the final round.Â
BU placed three on the All-Championship squad which is given to the top 10 individual finishers.Â
Jacob Hall finished second with a 212,Â
Conor Schubring carded a 213 for third andÂ
David Morton placed fifth with a 215.

The Bethel University Royals captured the 2025 MIAC Men's Golf Championship with a three-round score of 891 (+27). The marks Bethel's third MIAC Men's Golf Title after earning the crown in 2023-24, and 2014-15.Â
Royals junior Jesse Balc won the 2025 MIAC Men's Golf Individual Championship with a three-round tally of 218 (+2). Balc is the second Bethel medalist in program history, joining Tim Brovold's title in 2004-05.Â
The Royals decreased their score each day. They registered a 301 in round one, a 299 in round two, and a 291 in round three. Balc's final tally
of 218 (+2) consisted of marks of 75 in round one, 71 in round two, and a 72 in round three.
Jacob Ferrin, who finished tied for second place, also played a role in Bethel's comeback with a 71 in the third round after he posted scores of
75 in rounds one and two en route to a 221 (+5).Â
Zeke Roberts just missed the top 10 as his 226 (+10) put him in a tie for 11th place. This included a pair of 74 (+2) performances in the last two rounds. Charlie Solberg finished in a tie for 14th place with a 228 (+12) that included a tournament-best 74 (+2) in the third round. Carson Hannestad rounded out the Royals with a 237 (+21), which put him in a tie for 31st place. The highlight of Hannestad's performance was a 76 (+4) in round one.
