Cramer Leads Royals at Tori Neubauer Invite

RESULTS

LA CROSSE, Wis.—A personal best run from Madeline Cramer led the Royals Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's Tori Neubauer Invitational. The sophomore completed the 6K course in 23:46, good for 35th place overall.

"Madeline made a huge jump today to lead the team, finishing 35th in a national-level field" head coach Joe Stephens said.

Cramer wasn't the only Royal with a solid day, as the team as a whole put on a solid performance. Emmy Inwards (74th, 24:27), Abigail Burr (96th, 24:54), Lydia Herath (139th, 25:20) and Lindsay Johnson (153rd, 25:32) rounded out the scoring portion of Bethel's team. Inwards' and Herath's times were personal bests and Johnson's a season best.

"As a team, this is definitely the best race that the women have run this season," said Stephens.

Next up for the Royals is the MIAC championship meet, Saturday, Oct. 29 in St. Paul's Como Park.
