CLEVELAND -
Dan Greeno (Sr., St. Michael, Minn.) earned NCAA All-American status in men's cross country for the third year in a row by placing 10th out of 276 runners today at the national meet.
Greeno finished the 8k race at Highland Park Golf Course with a time of 25:41.1, which was less than 10 seconds out of second place. Ricky Flynn of Lynchburg College won the individual race with a time of 25:09.8, well ahead of everyone else.
The trip to the national meet closes out a great year for Greeno, who placed first at the Central Region race a week ago, as well as first at the MIAC championship meet three weeks ago. Greeno became Bethel's first male cross country All-American back in 2007, and repeated the feat last year as well.
