A two-time All-American, Borner won her last five meets of the season. From that point she went on to win the Central regional title and was named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Most Valuable Athlete for the second year in a row after taking home top honors at the conference meet earlier this year. Her win at the MIAC meet helped lead Bethel to their highest finish ever as a team at the meet (second).
