USTFCCCA release
NEW ORLEANS - Thanks to a strong showing at last weekend's Pre-National Meet hosted at Hanover College in Hanover, Ind., the Bethel Royals have moved up to #27 in the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national poll.
The Royals, who entered the poll last week at #28, finished the Pre-National Meet in second place out of 16 teams, thanks to three finishers in the top 20, including overall race champion,
Marie Borner (Jr., Cottage Grove, Minn.).
Bethel's cross country teams will remain idle this week, but will be preparing for the Oshkosh Cross Country Invitational, scheduled to take place Saturday, Oct. 18, on the campus of UW-Oshkosh. The race in Oshkosh will serve as the final preparation for the MIAC Championship, scheduled to take place Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Como Park Golf Course in St. Paul, Minn.
