Jared Johnson is in his eighth year at Bethel University. Now the Assistant AD for Sports Information and Marketing, Johnson began his tenure at BU as the Sports Information Director in the fall of 2011 following a period of time as a Media Relations Graduate Assistant at Marshall University (West Virginia).

AT BETHEL
• Editor-in-chief of BethelRoyals.com, which has grown over 60 percent in average page views since 2012
• Oversee the cultivation, creation, and completion of all digital, print, and video campaigns for Bethel athletics
• Creator and content manager for all social media platforms, which has the largest total following and engagement of all MIAC and non-NCAA Division I athletic programs in the Upper Midwest
• Orchestrated department’s first-ever apparel licensing contract with Nike and BSN Sports in 2017
• Project manager for first-ever turf fundraising campaign (Hargis Park) that was completed on time and under budget in 2017
• Launched 39 @ 3900 video series in 2017-18 that reached over 300,000 viewers
• Supervise production for over 120 live video stream events per year, generating over 40,000 viewers
• Project manager for three full web redesigns of BethelRoyals.com, which has over 2,000 pages
• Initiated e-mail campaign (Royal Recap) in 2012 that has sustained 52.7 percent open rate and 34.2 percent click rate
• Member of MIAC Strategic Planning Committee for Identity & Branding
• Primary liaison to Bethel’s advancement, admissions, alumni, and facilities departments
• Oversee all facility branding projects, which includes graphics, digital signage, and visual displays
• Recipient of Bethel University’s Core Mark of Distinction

• Nominated five consecutive Allstate AFCA Good Works Team honorees 
• Nominated five Academic All-American recipients in 2017-18
