Co-Regular Season

The 2015-16 season was one to remember as the Royals claimed their first-ever MIAC regular season title. BU closed out the regular season on a program-record six wins capped off by a dominant series sweep over Concordia. The Royals finished MIAC play with a 12-4-2 mark and 26 points, which was the same as St. Thomas who would get the No. 1 seed based on a series win earlier in the season.

Bethel defeated Augsburg in overtime of the semifinals, 1-0, moving their win streak to a program-record six game. A spot in their second consecutive MIAC Championship set up a rematch with the Tommies where they fell in heartbreak fashion 2-1. Seven Royals departed from the '15-16 squad that tallied a 62-37-9 record over four seasons.

Brian Carlson was named MIAC Coach of the Year and boasted three All-Conference honorees in Erin Harper, Caroline Kivisto and Lauren Kolak while Sarina Goos was named to the All-MIAC Rookie Team. The Royals finished 15-10-2 overall making it the fifth time in six seasons they finished with at least 15 wins.
