Radcliffe has also been instrumental in a number of team and individual statistical records, as he has coached the Royals to the highest batting average in a season, the most hits in a season, the most home runs in a season, and the best team ERA in a season. Additionally, Radcliffe has tutored eight All-MIAC players, three NFCA all-region players, and one all-region academic.

In addition, Radcliffe contributed to the efforts of adding a junior varsity team in 2007, which continues to be a training ground for many varsity participants. While not coaching softball, Radcliffe is also the supervisor of the Sports and Recreation Center as well as the Ona Orth Complex on campus.

Beyond being exceptional on the field, Radcliffe also believes in the importance of having a Christ-centered focus both on and off the field. His goals as the head coach are to improve the team’s performance, while bringing hope, direction, and leadership to each individual athlete.

Rod and his wife, Julie, live in Blaine and have three children, Adam, Tyler, and Koby.
