About Heather: Jelen graduated from Lincoln High School in 2005. During high school she participated in soccer and volleyball and participated and lettered in cross country and track. She also earned awards for All-State Cross Country 2004, AP Scholar with Distinction, Honor Roll, and Scholar Athlete. In her free time, Heather likes to run, spend time with friends and family, play sports, travel, read, and swim. She is majoring in Political Science and International Relations and minoring in Spanish, History, and Modern World Languages. After she graduates from Bethel University, Jelen is planning on working on a Senate campaign.
