BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Royals shined earning four major awards for the MIAC Indoor Track and Field postseason accolades, announced by the conference office Thursday afternoon. Senior
AnnaGrace Nelson was named the Women's Field Athlete of the Year while senior
Jacob Parent was name Men's Track Athlete of the Year and freshman
Victor Lelinga earned Men's Rookie of the Year.

In his 12th season as head coach of the Royals,
Andrew Rock was named the Women's Coach of the Year for the third consecutive season and fourth overall (2015, 2022, 2023, 2024) after leading the Royals to a three-peat MIAC Champion title. Rock also earned Men's Coach of the Year for the second straight season and third time in his career (2017, 2023, 2024).

AnnaGrace Nelson earns the Royals first-ever Field Athlete of the Year accolade after winning the high jump event in a thrilling tie-breaking jump-off. Nelson cleared a personal best 1.63m / 5'4.25" and right after earned third in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 9.30. The day prior she earned second place in the pentathlon scoring a program-record 3,200 points. She also placed third in the triple jump with a 12.88m mark.

Jacob Parent is the sixth Royal to earn Men's Track Athlete of the Year as it marks back-to-back years of BU earning the honor with
Landen Liu collecting last year's award. Parent brought home three event titles winning the 200-meter dash in a conference meet record time of 21.80, the 400m dash in another meet record time of 48.58 and was part of the 4x400m relay squad that took first in a time of 3:22.97.

Victor Lelinga earns the Royals second consecutive Rookie of the Year award for the indoor season after winning the 600-meter dash and placing fifth in the 800m. He won the 600m run as he dashed away from the field over the final 200m, winning in 1:20.57. Lelinga closed hard in the 80m taking fifth in a time of 1:57.02, just 0.002 behind fourth place.

The Royals on the women's side boasted three MIAC individual champion and one relay champions. On the men's side they tallied five individual first-place finishes and twp relay champions.
