The incoming freshman football class for the 2016 season is now complete. The talented group of newcomers hail from seven states and 32 high schools. The 35 freshman, along with 84 upperclassmen, will report to training camp on August 13 with their first game slated for September 3 when they play 2015 Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) champion, University of Dubuque.

"We will be fun to watch! We will execute fundamentals that will aim at "attacking the source"; in other words, the opposing quarterback," said head coach Steve Johnson. "We will apply much more pressure on Defense. Offensively, we will always have our foot on the gas with some great athletes stressing the opposing defense. We have recruited and developed the tools to accomplish this style of play."
