STEVENS POINT, WISC.—Competing in Saturday's Big Dog Invite at Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Evan Hatton set a new personal best in the mile run. The freshman raced to a time of 4:26.61, good for second overall.

The men's 4x400-meter relay ran a season best time of 3:21.46, third overall and the second-best mark in the MIAC this season. The squad of Carl Klamm, Karl Olsen, Dan Wahlstedt and Patrick Klamm took nearly half a second off their time from Grinnell last week.

The Royals' next meet is the Kilt Classic at Macalester, Friday, Feb. 26.
