These numbers translated well to the MIAC too, as Carlson led the league in assists, power play points, and defenseman scoring. The Roseville, Minn. native will go down as the highest scoring defenseman in Bethel history with 75 points.
The CCM Hockey All-American Ice Hockey Teams are sponsored by CCM Hockey and chosen by members of the American Hockey Coaches Association.
The first and second team for both the east and west regions hail from seven different states, four provinces, and three countries. Minnesota leads the way with seven selections, while California landed three.
12 of the 24 players honored among the two teams from each region are still playing, as there are four teams still competing in the NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Championship in Rochester, NY.
