LAKE CITY, Minn. - Bethel University's women's golf team continued their record setting trend this past weekend with a new low round collective score of 360 at the D3 Midwest Classic. The tournament took place at the Par 72, 5,800 yard, Jewel Golf Club in Lake City, Minnesota. The Classic featured eighteen schools from throughout the Midwest with Bethel finishing twelfth overall with a combined score of 722 over the two-day tournament.
Paige Lemieux (So., Fargo, N.D.) finished with the Royal's top score, shooting an 81 on the first day and 90 on the second for a total of 171. Hannah Hustad (Sr., Medina, Minn.) finished with a 91 on both days of the tournament for a combined score of 182.
Bethel will travel north this upcoming weekend to take part in the Saint Benedict Invitational on the 26th and 27th of September. The Royals will compete at Blackberry Ridge in Sartell, Minn., and Wapicada Golf Course in Sauk Rapids, Minn.
