USTFCCA Release
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has released its list of All-Americans following the NCAA National Indoor Track and Field Championships last weekend. Bethel University's
Marie Borner (Sr., Cottage Grove, Minn.) and
Vanessa Moore (Sr., Grantsburg, Wis.) are the school's representatives on the list.
Borner finished the mile run with a time of 4:55.41 - nearly three seconds better than her time that earned her a national championship title in the same event a year ago in Ada, Ohio. Ayla Mitchell from UW-Oshkosh won the race with a time of 4:54.66.
Moore finished fifth among the 15 participants at the national meet. She previously finished in seventh place in the high jump at the indoor track and field championships in 2007, and tied for sixth in the same event in the outdoor championships later that year as well. This year, she cleared 1.61 meters (5 feet, 3.25 inches) to tie with another athlete from North Central College.
