MOORHEAD, Minn. - Bethel University's Mark Stockhowe (So., Burnsville, Minn.) participated in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) pentathlon this weekend at the Olson Forum on the campus of Concordia-Moorhead. He finished ninth of 16 in the competition with 3,057 points.
Stockhowe earned his highest placement – fourth – in the 55m hurdles, coming in with a time of 8.20 seconds. He also finished fifth in the shot put competition, throwing 11.14 meters (36 feet, 11.75 inches), and seventh in the 1000 meter run, ending with a time of 2:56.36. Stockhowe's other two events included the high jump, where he finished 12th by clearing1.64 meters (5 feet, 4.5 inches), and the long jump where he finished 13th with a distance of 5.70 meters (18 feet, 18.5 inches)
Stockhowe will join the rest of his teammates tomorrow when they compete in the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend in Moorhead.
