MOORHEAD, Minn. - Bethel University's
Amy Neubauer (So., Rogers, Minn.) participated in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) pentathlon this weekend at the Olson Forum on the campus of Concordia-Moorhead. She finished fourth of 10 in the competition with 2,723 points.
Neubauer earned the highest number of her points in the 55m hurdles, finishing in 9.13 seconds, taking fourth in that event. She also finished second in the 800 meter run, losing by just under a second with a time of 2:35.06. Neubauer also took the same place in the long jump, with a leap of 4.94 meters (16 feet, 2.5 inches). Neubauer claimed fourth place in the high jump by clearing 1.43 meters (4 feet 8.25 inches), and finished 10th in the shot put with a distance of 5.80 meters (19 feet, 1/2 inch).
Neubauer will join the rest of her teammates tomorrow when they compete in the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend in Moorhead.
