About Miriam:  Paas graduated from People Christian Academy in 2005.  During high school she participated and lettered in hockey, volleyball, and basketball.  She also earned awards for Ontario Scholar, Hockey Captain, and Volleyball Captain.  In her free time Miriam likes to play sports, play music, relax with friends and family, and have bonfires.  She is majoring in Media Communications.  After she graduates from Bethel, Paas is planning on attending grad school and coaching hockey.

Why Bethel?:  "I chose to come to Bethel because I wanted to play hockey and attend school in an environment that encourages both spiritual and academic growth."
