I.  Academics
 
Why did you choose Bethel?
I chose Bethel because my brothers had gone to Bethel and I knew it was a good school.

What do you enjoy about your major?
I enjoy the community we have built within the program. The professors really care about us and we have a lot of fun in class.

One class that every Bethel student should take…
Every student should take as many Q classes as possible. They are a great opportunity to meet new people in other majors.

What is your favorite academic memory from BU? (project, internship, study abroad trip)
I've really enjoyed working in the Exercise Medicine and Prevention Center at Bethel. Its a great way to practice my skills in health assessments.
 
II.  Athletics
 
How would you define your role on and off the court?
On the court, I try to bring intensity, focus and maximal effort so that I can win my match. Off the court, I am a team supporter and do everything to make sure the team is getting the best experience possible.

What are the team goals for this spring on/off the court?
Our goal as a team was to make the MIAC playoffs and we did it for the first time in Bethel history! Individually, my goals were to give it my best effort and to win more matches than last year.

Biggest influence on your athletic career?
My biggest influence is my dad. He was my coach in high school and has spent countless hours helping me reach my goals in tennis.

III.  Personal
 
What song/band is most likely to be playing on your iPod?
I am infamous for my love for Ke$ha. Glitter and all, she's got the beat.

Do you have any pre-game rituals or traditions?
Not before a match but before every serve I knock my heal against my other foot. It started when I had shoes that were too big and just became a habit.
 
What reality show could you see yourself being a part of?
I applied to be on the show 'Wipeout' but never got an invitation to the casting call, but I would love to be on it.
