The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced the 2012 MIAC Men's Tennis Awards Tuesday, which included the All-Conference and All-MIAC Sportsmanship Teams, and the top individual player and coach awards were claimed by conference champion Gustavus Adolphus College and Saint John's University.
Juniors
Tucker Morris (Arden Hills, Minn.) and
Reggie Ronning (Alexandria, Minn.) were claimed as members of the 2012 MIAC All-Conference doubles group. The two together were highly competitive all season long, as they finished with a 4-3 record overall and a 3-1 record within conference play. Each had a fairly successful year in singles as well, as Morris finished 7-6 and Ronning composed a 5-9 mark. In overall doubles, Morris was 8-6, while Ronning captured a final doubles record of 5-7.
As part of a conference-wide sportsmanship initiative, the MIAC announced the sixth annual All-MIAC Sportsmanship team for men's and women's tennis in addition to the All-Conference teams. Members of the All-MIAC Sportsmanship team are selected by their coaches and teammates as individuals who demonstrate ideals of positive sportsmanship both on and off the field of competition.

Tucker Morris was chosen as the representative for Bethel. Meanwhile, for the women
Lisa Scheevel (Jr., St. Cloud, Minn.) was chosen to the All-MIAC Sportsmanship team.
