MIAC Release

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Bethel University's Dan Greeno (Sr., St. Michael, Minn.) has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for his performance last weekend.

Greeno finished the 24th annual Roy Griak Invitational eight-kilometer course in 25:40, placing second, 13 seconds behind individual champion Zach Whilhelmy of UW-La Crosse. Greeno was looking for his second straight Griak title at Les Bolstad Golf Course on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota. Bethel placed 14th out of 35 teams.

The Royals next meet is the Blugold Invitational, scheduled for this Friday at the Colfax Golf Course in Colfax, Wis., beginning at 5 p.m.
