MIAC Release

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Bethel University's Dan Greeno (St. Michael, Minn.) has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for his performance last weekend.

Greeno, a two-time NCAA All-American, led from start to finish to win the eight-kilometer Les Duke Invitational in Grinnell, Iowa on Saturday. His time of 25:17 topped the field of 215 runners and helped Bethel place fifth out of 14 teams.

The Royals next meet is the Roy Griak Invitational, scheduled to take place on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Les Bolstad Golf Course on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota.
