USTFCCCA Release

NEW ORLEANS - Bethel University's women's cross country program has been ranked 13th nationally in the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll. The Royals spent a majority of the 2008 season as a nationally ranked team, peaking at #13 before finishing as the #22 team in the nation. Last season also saw Bethel make its first appearance as a team in the national meet in late November.

Bethel joins St. Thomas and Carleton as the only other two MIAC teams that are nationally ranked. The Royals are currently ranked third in the Central Region, along with five other MIAC teams.

The next scheduled race for the Royals is this Saturday, September 12, at the Oakland Acres Golf Course in Grinnell, Iowa, beginning at 10 p.m.
