ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Bethel Royals competed in a triangular meet, hosted by Macalester College and finished second in a very close, single round contest. The Royals shot a collective 368 while match winners Augsburg shot a 366 and Macalester shot a 369 at the Par 72, 5,843-yard Highland Park National Golf Course.

Bree Eastlack (Sr., Rockford, Minn.) posted Bethel's best round with a 16 over par 88. Hannah Hunstad (Jr., Medina, Minn.) finished in a tie for sixth place out of 15 golfers with a 92, while the rest of the team had either a 94 or a 97.

The Royals are scheduled to play in one more event, and that's the Blugold Spring Invitational, hosted by UW-Eau Claire on Saturday and Sunday, May 2-3, at Wild Ridge Golf Club in Eau Claire, Wis.
