SAN DIEGO
- Several members of the Bethel University women's track and field team spent some of their spring break out in sunny southern California to participate in the Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) Collegiate Open.

Amy Neubauer (So., Rogers, Minn.) had a second place finish in the long jump with a distance of 4.99 meters (16 feet, 4.5 inches), and finished fifth in the 100 meter hurdles at 16.93 seconds. Leah Jackson (Sr., Fridley, Minn.) competed in the 100 and 200 meter races, finishing fifth and ninth with times of 13.10 and 27.28 seconds, respectively.
