NEW ORLEANS - Three members of Bethel's women's track and field team have been named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic team. Marie Borner (Sr., Cottage Grove, Minn.), Heather Jelen (Sr., Sioux Falls, S.D.), and Vanessa Moore (Sr., Grantsburg, Wis.) join 15 other student athletes from the MIAC also on the list.

NEW ORLEANS - Thanks to its first ever team appearance at the cross country national championship meet, as well as having a pair of NCAA All-Americans at both the indoor and outdoor track and field championship meets, Bethel University finished 2008-09 among the top 10 teams in the Deb Vercauteren Program of the Year standings.
