Nicole Wriedt (So., Pewaukee, Wis.) scored 11 points on 11 kills against Bethany Lutheran last Wednesday night to give the Bethel Royals a 3-0 win in their home opener on their new gymnasium floor. Wriedt was the leading scorer for both teams in that match. She is currently second on the team in kills with 49, second in kills per set with 2.14, and second in attack percentage with a .237 average. Bethel takes on Concordia College for its first conference game on Wednesday in Moorhead, Minn., followed by the Simpson Tournament in Indianola, Iowa, this weekend.
